I-700 Track Released

I-700 is a conversion from NR2003.  Kurt has graciously given us blanket permission to convert his track to Heat. :)  I700 is a very cool fictional track. 7/10th of a mile in length Tri-oval with 8 degrees of banking in tri-oval and 10 to 20 degrees in the turns.

I've also added a few track objects of mine own, to this awesome track.   I hope you enjoy racing it as much as I have of converting and also racing.

Huge thanks to Hunter for all the help and testing he provided.

Enjoy

Great track!! Very fast and quite challenging - the elevation changes in places like through the tri-oval mean you have to really drive the track, not just go in a circle. Each corner is different.
Pit pathing has errors, pit road needs to be driven manually not on auto.
There seems to be no AI path in the track - they all ran super slow until I added my own .gcf file then, they flew.
Thanks for the great effort

My race cars all have the same faulty component : It's the nut that holds the steering wheel.

Hey BF,

I just reuploaded his track.  It comes with Track shot menus's, working pits, an AI path, pit path, and a flagman in the stands.   You do need to create your own gcf for the track thou. ;)

Cheers,

Dave

Wicked.
Just ran the new download, and the cars are much better even without my .gcf where as before they crawled around. Theres a wee dude up above the start/finish line! Never noticed him before.
Pit path still has one error - after release the car pulls hard left towards the other car pit bays, just around the bend near the start finish line although it doesn't hit the other cars it comes close. But if I drive manually it's no issue.
Great fun track, tough groove but fast, the changes off the higher banking can upset the car so every lap is concentration central. Best I can manage so far is 18:314 in a Late Model - probably not quick enough. More laps!

I think Speedyman did an awesome job for only his 2nd track ever.!!       Yeah it's a fun track to race on that's for sure!!
